Whitebeard is the best image of an ideal man. Someone who is strong and brilliant but not selfish. Someone who is willing to show compassion to all others but will protect those close to him. He truly cares for his thousands of crew as if they were his own flesh and blood. He took on and entire military to rescue one man that is true love. He is unwavering in his beliefs and willing to sacrifice everything for his family, his crew. He died standing having no scars on his back never running and never showing fear.

The best Yonkou we've seen so far. Appeared for a mere 30 chapters, but truly captured the hearts of all One Piece fans. Resembled love for his comrades, terror to his enemies, and had admirable qualities. Rest in peace, Edward Newgate. Truly one oc the best character in anime history.
