  • To fix the weather issue for the daylight sensor, you can build the farm in a desert biome since it doesn't rain or snow there
  • @AlexJoneses
As an engineer i can teally appreciate your deep dive into statistical analysis of minecraft
  • @johnbirkholz994
If anyone is interested, I built the ~90% efficiency farm shown at 14:40. For a small group of friends on a server it was simple to build and is generating far more than we need. 5 blocks of space between the level the beds are on and the golem spawn floor, and a 10 block fall to the collection/kill area below that.

Remember that kid in math class that said, "When are we ever gonna use this in real life?"
  • @puzzLEGO
Finally, a youtuber who can do math. Very easy to follow and well laid out. 10/10
  • @Geosquare8128
This is probably the best-communicated technical mc video I've seen I hope you make more soon
  • @caseyw216
Idk if all your videos are like this, but if so I will be subscribing. I love that you don’t just say “place blocks here and do this” you explain why your doing things. And how things work. This is huge for me. Watching other videos are a simple copy and paste what someone else did. This is great.
  • @MasteriskTM
Good quality and no bs. We need more like you. Keep up the good work.
  • @Progeusz
What shocked me the most is that even simple farm with lava blade already has 66% efficiency. That means two such modules would already have greater output than one module running at 100%. This goes to show that honestly, any panic-based iron farm that works, is good enough for most purposes.
  • @Andreas-qg8jj
How is this not even above a thousand views?! Seriously underrated. I’m glad this was in my recommended, because this is the most useful iron farm video I’ve seen. Incredible work
  • @KreeTheBasilisk
It's nice to hear Mumbo getting props for discovering new redstone techniques 😄
  • @Youeditz2
That one un-employed friend on a Tuesday
  • @BTGTB
You had me hooked at 25 seconds in when you showed the graphs. I love it when creators go and show the detailed math behind Minecraft mechanics instead of just putting a list of output data by each type of farm. I also work as a STEM tutor and will definitely be passing this video on to several of my students, thank you for the excellence in making it!
  • @ashurean
Taking the "what factors matter" approach to solving a problem is my personal favorite. It's a simple approach that has you think through what variables actually have an impact and which are just unrelated noise.
  • @LucarYT-zm1rp
these are the videos i enjoy, where you not only get a base understanding but an in depth explanation, that also shows why things happen and encourages to build a better setup, and even playing bedrock its still fun to see these
  • @joselor7614
man, this rigourous and mathematical approach to iron farming was so interesting and also solved the main issues I had with most iron farms, being that the sleep timers and spawn timers could overlap, really happy to see that I wasn't the only one being bothered by that Incredible video
  • @gSys1337
I love how the Minecraft community is not just incredibly creative but also teaches and showcases science. Playing Minecraft will get you smart. At least it did for me. 10 years ago the Minecraft community showed me logic gates at the age of 14, today I study computer science. 🥳
  • @skeetsmcgrew3282
You know, even though this is absolutely the most pointless thing ever, it really brings home how amazing this game is at letting you make your own challenges. There's literally no reason to make more than a couple hundred iron bars an hour, but this man decided that the goal was the number itself, not what it's used for. And that is arguably equally valid to any other way of playing. Extremely nerdy and cool video mate
  • @captainkeyes9913
the visuals on what you are talking about is very helpful to get a better understanding. thanks for putting the “show” into “show and tell”
  • @theflyingfool
Outstanding! Your analytical, synthetical & explanatory skills are unmatched!
