After failing to win a championship with Cleveland, LeBron James left in 2010 as a free agent to join the Miami Heat; this was announced in the television special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent decisions in sports history.

James won his first two NBA championships while playing for the Heat in 2012 and 2013; in both of these years, he also earned the league's MVP and Finals MVP awards.

  • Back to back champion Back to back finals MVP Back to back season MVP that's why I love villain LeBron James
  • @b-baller4life
The hate LeBron received back then was crazy ridiculous
  • I dont know if prime LeBron was really on the 🔥 but that 2012-13 season was 4 sure his best on his entire career and one of the NBA story with Hakeem in 1994 (it would be the best perfect season ever, if only he wouldnt get stoled from winning the DPOY)
  • @BryceZehn
Lebron’s hate back then was crazy.
  • @MannyMensah94
Personally I feel LeBron had his years when he played in Miami. He learned how to win. 4 finals appearances with 2 championships (2x Finals MVP) and 2 regular season MVPs.
  • @Hoodiescottie
Lebron going to Miami was the best decision he ever made and he was the villain and I miss Lebron in Miami but I’m glad he brought 2 championship in Miami
  • @DADON99
The early 2010s era of the NBA was so fun😂😂
  • I feel for LeBron when he left Cleveland for Miami in free agency. The hate to LeBron, the disrespect, etc. back then was ridiculous. But at least he won a couple titles in Miami.
  • “I hope he doesn’t win anything in Miami” Lebron: and I took that mad personally
  • Think about it:He left the Cavs to have a break and then return as a MONSTER and bring them a chip
  • @Reilly5
Watching this in 2023, its interesting to see how close those playoff games were.
  • @adinata3286
The reason why LeBron left Cleveland for the first time is because the lack of GM and owner on their ability when they went off-season. I mean, there is only 2 all-stars during his first Cavs tenure (Ilgauskas and Williams). They seem didn't trust LeBron to be their superstar. Plus the big three Celtics are on his way
