I went into that final level with 99 lives and finished with 5. The fire gates and jumping on the balloon guys while invisible just made it nearly impossible for me.

Some people were complaining the game is too ez but as an old man I thought it was just about perfect. Way harder than any new Sup but easier than the originals is perfect if you ask me.
  • The reward for beating the final final level is very reminiscent of beating the secret Star Road area in SMW and getting the entire games sprites changed
  • I did Badge Marathon earlier today. When Fir started yelling "It's sooooo hard!" I felt it in my bones. I'm going to 3D print the invisibility badge so I can set it on fire.

I feel "There is a checkpoint! Oh my god, they have a mercy" so hard. Doing it with a checkpoint every 3 stages was so hard, can you even imagine doing it without them?? Can't wait for all insane runs and mods you will do! Watching your streams and videos is always so fun :D

In the Final Wonder level (not the Final Badge Challenge, the level before it) there's a hidden Daisy block with a drill power-up in it, right after the falling pipe before the crystal area... I know because I played the whole game as Daisy, if I hadn't I would have never known it existed. The drill lets you basically skip most of the danger on the next part of the level.

The Fluff Puff special level is insanely difficult when you attempt to get the coins in the same run that you complete it. Out of my entire 100% run, that definitely felt the hardest.

One thing I find fascinating about Wonder’s harder levels is how they’re mostly designed to counter multiplayer cheese. There’s a lot of autoscrollers or “timed” levels, and by forcing you to constantly be on-the-move, it means you’re less likely to be able to revive via another player or a standee. You can’t go backwards in those levels, even as a ghost. Of course, whether this is a strength or a weakness depends on how much you like autoscrollers. :U
  • I got to the last checkpoint of the badge marathon and had to put it aside for a few days because I was getting so frustrated, lol. Came back and beat it with a total of about 20 lives lost 💪🏻

The fire bar level took me over and hour on that one part because I kept failing. Also the wall jump level once you got it down was satisfying.

Seeing you suffer in the Final-Final Test made me happy because I suffered a lot while doing it myself. I'm only mad you did the invisibility badge first try. I suffered a lot on this one so I didn't get the satisfaction of seeing you suffer on it as well.

i have yet to see a single person not dying to that one pipe in the wonder gauntlet. they really tested out the exact time a person would wait on top + what it takes to get below the pip to crush every person on their first attempt

Fluff-Puff Special is definitely the hardest level in the game from my side. Timing the jumps and performing wall jumps on single blocks is insanely stressful.

There’s something healing about seeing Fir struggle nearly as much as I did with the Badge Challenge 💀

These levels are not just challenging especially when you're not using help from online players, they also really test your patience. If you get too excited and do extra move at the wrong time, you'll be dead. But they're fun challenges, not frustratingly hard that it's almost impossible doing it.

That last level was brutal, especially the spring badge portion. I honestly considered going back to an earlier level to get a power up (and an extra to put in storage just in case), then using it to just damage boost through those last few fire bars. I didn't, but I definitely thought about it.

Honestly, I enjoyed it. It wasn’t too easy, it was fun to play, there were definitely challenges along the way. It was like I played the perfect Mario game
  • @imright77
I'm really happy I got to see Fir's reaction to the secret badge

It is comforting for me, a gamer who does not consider myself the “best” (but fairly decent), to know that I was not the only person who legit struggled in the goomba special world.
