In hunting for a seat cleaner to help prolong the life of my pontoon boat seats, I finally tested Marine 31. You will see for yourself, the winner is clear. After a second application, rinse, and towel, the seats essentially look new. Top off with a vinyl conditioner and my boat seats are back to looking great. BioKleen didn't put a dent.

Guys and gals, simply take 50% water deionized or filtered and 50% blesch, exact same thing for pennys. I own a detail company in Florida and do boats 24/7

I would never put bleach on vinyl seats or cushions.
  • After using bleach products use diluted hydrogen peroxide. A ratio of 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide to 10 parts water is effective for neutralizing bleach.

Mr Clean Magic Erasers have never failed me. Good video though.

50/50 bleach and water, does the same thing, actually it works better.

Yep. I’ve tried everything and though some may get at the deep mildew better then marine 31, those products destroy the vinyl. Marine 31 should rename itself to Marine Miracle. There’s nothing like it. It crushed 5 year old mildew in my boat seats after only three minutes of spraying it onto the surface. Garden hosed it off and the seats came back to new and we’re soft and supple. Good post.
