This captivating documentary spotlights the ocean's elusive predators in the Mediterranean – the colossal sperm whales, endangered monk seals, and the massive Mola or sunfish, uniquely captured by filmmaker Thomas Behrend. It also portrays the deep connections formed between humans and marine life, seen in Ute Margreff's bond with a dolphin on Ireland's Atlantic coast and Florian Graner's love for the fjords of northwest USA. An intriguing narrative of marine biodiversity and human interaction.

Love extra long documentaries!!! Please share more! ( But I’d Rather see docs that are just narrated by one person and not films containing all the human commentary and footage of people.. I just enjoy narrated wildlife vids Honestly ).

Beautiful video images. Is diving with a spermwail dangerous? In a different video about spermwail they talked about the frequency of the sound waves. Some can blow out human eardrums.

The current weather where I am is quite hot, that's why I really like to sink into the blue water of the ocean, I want to have sea creatures swimming around me, it feels so interesting. I like piano music combined with natural sounds even more

Maybe there IS a need for background commentary to help tell the humpback whale's story.

I wonder why European people seem never scare nothing.

It's interesting who decides an animal should die from a snake bite & intervention should save an animal who's almost dead from shark attack, but has lost most of it's flippers, so will it ever be able to survive in the wild again? Not criticizing, just curious decisions. 🐱🐱
