The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Final Boss + Ending

The fact that this culminates into a dragon fight is amazing

I just finished the game today. This was a huge improvement over BotW's final battle.

Link grabbing Zelda's hand is beautiful in terms of "continuity". He couldn't grab hold of her when she fell during Ganondorf's awakening back at the castle. From that moment on, Link has lived with that regret, and Zelda has been "falling" ever since. Now, he finally sees her again and is able to catch her. It all comes full-circle. Very powerful and compelling way to bring them back together. It symbolizes that their destinies truly are intertwined, and they are fated to meet again and again. All without a single word of dialogue. Nintendo's getting pretty good at this story-telling sh*t.

Can’t help but wonder how Ganondorf would feel if he knew he was just a reincarnation of Demise that had already lost to Link before…

When ganon started flurry rushing i seriously shat my pants. There goes the "time slowing is link's ability" headcanon, he just bested us at our own game 😮

Yall gotta think abt it tho.. Link has gone through some trauma aswell. The world constantly relies on him to save it.

41:10 I love how softly the BOTW theme was played at this part. 42:17 And how the main theme played here. This game really needs to win Game of the Year just like BOTW did.

Theory as to why Ganondorf can pseudo-flurry rush: there’s still a tiny bit of Sonia’s time power in there, and he’s siphoning it for that slight edge in fighting

Guys, I think Nintendo took the "Calamity Ganon was too easy" complaints personally.

the ending was beautiful, after breath of the wild all the hylieans were so happy to know that link and zelda were alive and they all decicated themselves to hyrules restoration. even new champions

I feel bad for Mucktorok in this, honestly. Marbled Ghoma, Colgera, Queen Gibdo, and Seized Construct are all as large as, if not larger than the Sage they face. All while tiny little Mucktorok is paired up against the towering titan that is Sidon.

I absolutely loved everything about this when it played it. Still worth rewatching.

Best boss battle in the history of boss battles Edit: the Transformation cutscenes were just too great, especially 14:07

Last fight was easy but it’s the most beautiful fight in Zelda Lore, I loved it, Nintendo perfectioned the predecessor Perfect game.

Now that is a 10/10 game

I hope in the dlc we get an explanation of the other 3 dragons and who they were. That would be sick!

Toon Link would be proud by going for the head stab.

Now this was a satisfying ending we all needed to the legend of Zelda, especially how Ganondorf AKA demon dragon goes kaboom. The dive to rescue Zelda and when she said "he gone... the demon king" I believe it has a double meaning, like he's never coming back and I'm inclined to agree. No one would want to come back from a defeat like that, In a sense it break's Link and Zelda's curse of fighting Ganondorf every 10,000 years wouldn't you all agree?
