TB, please keep them coming. You are the OG of this and the only real trucker voice of reason. I plan on buying my own tractor but I don’t want my own authority. I just want to freelance and pull for other companies.

You ARE your own boss and business. How you run yourself day-to-day matters. Why would you let someone tell you how to brush your teeth, let alone make rules and regulations around how you brush your teeth and when? It’s insane that the people make our laws don’t even drive a truck, and we’re forced to abide to these laws. I would trust some of these incompetent truck drivers more than all the people combined who are responsible for HOS.
