You said the shield lost integrity, but seeing how hard the 700 Nitro round was lodged in there, I'd say it gained integrity from that.

One thing I don't think you've done yet is do an apples-to-apples comparison of your more badass elephant gun rifles up against just a standard 50 BMG. I'd really like to see where the 50 BMG stands when put up against the 500/700 Nitro or the 577 Tyrannosaur. Cool video as always, and it's never lost on me how you have to drop several hundred dollars on ammo alone every time you bring out the big guns. 👍
  • That was a pretty interesting test. Really didn't expect the ballistic shield to stand up against some incredibly powerful rounds.
  • I think this goes to show how important some amount of protection is. Even though the shield was not rated for such a powerful round, it managed to stop it enough to the point where you'd only have a broken arm. Which I'd take a broken arm over dying any day.

Man that slow mo of the predator just eating that glass is pretty amazing. Cinematic beauty.
  • Any company that sends you their product has absolute faith in their craftsmanship
  • I am just as surprised that the shield stopped the 700 Nitro Express and 577 T-Rex, especially considering it took a bit of damage beforehand. That is an impressive shield.
  • Awesome video Scott. My Sheriff's Department just got those same ballistic shields and it's great to see the effectiveness of it. Absolutely love everything you do brother with Kentucky Ballistics and Customs. You're definitely my favorite Gun-tuber.
  • To be fair by the time the 416 hit it the shield was comprimised so brand new it very well may have held up. All in all an outstanding fun video to watch.
  • Congratulations on 3m, Scott! My dad loves your videos too. He calls you "that crazy guy from Kentucky". Merry Christmas, sir.

The alien looked so forlorn when it toppled over, poor soldier. Funny as shiizzle!
  • I have to take issue with the 416. I think it had an advantage because of the damage already done by the 700 Nitro and the 577. Also, the Back Panel came off and was never replaced, and from the way the 416 did not penetrate the Predator after, I doubt it had enough energy to go through the panel. I feel like the 306 also had some of that advantage.

Hats off to the Predinator for holding up that shield, taking glass to the face, and only falling over a couple of times. What a champ! And congrats on 3 million subs. I'm happy to be one of them!

It's insane to think that just over a year ago, maybe a year and a half ago, but Scott's 50. Cal blew up in his face. Mad respect and so much love Scott. I'm so happy to know you're doing great and still going strong with the videos! Merry christmas and happy new year!
  • I am glad to see you finally using a sharpie to label the bullet holes! LOL I have wondered why you and Demo haven't done that before LOL It would certainly make it a lot easier to tell the difference.
  • Congratulations on hitting 3 million subscribers!!! You absolutely deserve it. Your passion and expertise on firearms is second to none. Hope your channel continues to grow. Keep up the great work!!!

I’m not sure if you will see this but your content has helped me get thru a lot of depression. Me and my brothers have something to relate and look forward to from your content. Just gonna keep it short and simple; thanks for always having a positive attitude (even when your 50 cal exploded). It’s admirable and I feel like a lot of people should strive to live their lives that way. Anyway keep up the great work! On the road to 4 mil subs, I know you will get there 💥 👍
  • Can we talk about just what a good shot this man is?? He's got serious time and money invested in these tools, and to make a good video you have to hit where you're aiming. There are only so many do-overs possible. Excellent marksman with both handguns and long guns!
