Descriptions for both coins:

1. One Penny (1971) - UK:
- Obverse (Front): The obverse side of the 1971 UK one penny coin features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, facing right. This effigy of the Queen was designed by Arnold Machin.
- Reverse (Back): On the reverse side, the coin bears the image of a crowned portcullis, which is a medieval gate consisting of two wooden grilles, capped by a crown. This design is a continuation of the traditional British one penny design.

2. Two New Pence (1971) - UK:
- Obverse (Front): Similar to the one penny coin, the obverse side of the 1971 UK two new pence coin also displays the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, facing right, designed by Arnold Machin.
