It seems strange but I like like the older RPGs more. I feel like RPGs now have lost a lot of what made them fun. Its also fun seeing how creative people had to get with their limited skills.

As a RPG developer and youtuber, I have learned a lot. Not bad.

the community shadovis had at its peak was amazing. it made the game, which was already amazing one of my favourites I've ever played on roblox.

So there's this 1 month old RPG by the time I'm commenting this called "Periastron Stars RPG." It reuses old Roblox items (like Infinity RPG, I guess) and makes all these worlds with a big storyline.

You definitely did miss a few huge RPG's especially from the earlier years. However, there are just far to many to cover in one video so it's totally understandable. However overall I think this video was very well made! It gave a good history of the Roblox RPG genre and how it has all evolved over the years. Definitely a nostalgia trip for sure! I hope you continue to make content like this and maybe even possibly having a small series where you go back and play a few older Roblox games here and there.

I'm late to this by a month but whatever. I legit was excited when you mentioned Forsaken Sword Legacies, that and its sequels I played and beat quite a while ago

I started RPGs when legacy classic was still called Legacy RPG II, that was my first entry into RPGs on roblox but then I quickly moved into the tales of ranges cape and the lord of ranges cape. I was very into it and helped contribute to some aspects that I became a moderator for The lords of Nomrial. I'm still very deeply rooted into the RPG genre as someone who has played them almost all my life on-and-off roblox and I appreciated this video mentioning the many RPGs. One dev I wanted to shout out that wasn't mentioned here is gl0in2 who made Dungeon Delvers which was very popular early on and was an early predecessor of the dungeon crawl before guest quest.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but there was an old RPG that had like really massive Bosses & absurd amounts of health. The only thing I can remember is that this was years ago, so it was probably outdated.

Bro, I've been trying to find the locks of destiny for yearsss. Thank you so much bro you just brought back so many memories & nostalgia from when I was a child. It's a shame I don't see many people mentioning it in the comments, it was a great game.

A little dissapointed you didn't mention some other big titles in RPG genre like Fantastic Frontier and Vesteria during the mid to late 2010's but good video nonetheless!
