She said no new fur. She won't be throwing away a perfectly good old fur that is packed in tradition and history. That woukd be wasting the fur and the animal.

The animals used on the royal garments were dead long before people started crying about fur.

I’d say dump the real fur going forward but no need to change the existing traditional garb as it already has the fur and the animal already died so it would make no sense to change it now. You can’t rewrite history - you move forward and learn from it. That’s my view.

If the Royal robes are already trimmed with ermine, it is not harmful to wear them. After all, the animals are long dead. But were they to make new robes that require fur, that is a big no-no.

Princess Catherine is a truely classy lady. She always looks fantastic. The same goes for Sophie the Duchess of Edinburgh. Both those women are such big assets to the RF. I wish we saw and heard more of the wonderful Sophie and less of the lying grifters.

The fur on the ceremonial robes has been there for centuries. I don’t see the problem with that.
