Honestly Spencer had some pretty good patience for people just breaking into his house

Spencer always seemed childish when I was younger, but I now realize hes a typical person in his late 20s Or even a single guy in his 30s

To be fair, everyone does waltz right in like they own the place. And Spencer's probably the one who pays rent in his massive 3-story studio apartment.

You know when you think about it, Freddy and Sam hanging out at Spencer’s house is darker than you’d thing. Freddy’s mom is crazy and from what we can tell Sam’s household isn’t much better. This apartment was probably the closest thing to a home the two had.

Never realized he sounded pissed. Just thought it was like comedic sarcasm when he was younger.

Can we talk about how great Spencer was as a parental figure? Yes, he did crazy and sometimes dangerous artwork. Yes, he got frustrated with a lack of privacy. Yes, he decided to put spaghetti on tacos. But he also made a home for his little sister when their parents left them alone. He sheltered Freddie from his borderline abusive and incredibly invasive mother. He protected Sam from a really shitty home life. Spencer gets written off as this wacky, funny character but he was a young guy who was a father figure to three kids and did a fucking fantastic job making sure they turned out to be decent human beings. A king 👑

something something growing up is realizing why he was annoyed when carly's friends crashed st his place, maturing is realizing he'd never actually kick them out because he knew his home was a safe place away from their messed up home lives

This is actually a pretty funny commentary on the sitcom trope of people just letting themselves into their friends houses, and helping themselves to their shit. If that happened in real life, I would think the person was psychotic.

I love how he kinda bonded with Gibby cause Gibby is low key the most reliable. Plus he actually appreciates the things Spencer does

Tbh his character is surprisingly complex. He is creative and clearly cares about his sister and her friends (and ofc their show) but also needs space to be an adult and sometimes comes off as almost like a single dad archetype lol

Spencer may be the weirder of the people but he’s also the most reasonable.
