September 2015 the days of HS748 operations by Air North are numbered. This plane from the 50's is slated to be retired, and its replacement will be ATR-42. It was in the early morning hours I caught this one at Dawson City YT, taking off for Old Crow. The lighting conditions were marginal. But the sound is real, good old RR Dart whine.
