Here's something very different from what I usually post!! I've wanted to make an earnest effort to get back into music and create something in the Gen III style for a long time, and I had an idea to create nighttime versions of some of the town/route themes. No idea which one I'll do next or when I'll do it, but this was a fun project. I also dumped this into the game and recorded it off of an actual GBA for authenticity!

I may dabble in this every now and then - what are more Hoenn themes that would be cool to have a night version? Also, I made this midi in Anvil Studio and imported it into the game with Sappy. It's primitive compared to today's decomp methods, but it was easier for me to pick up for a day project like this!

After playing Emerald Cross and seeing littleroot at night, this is oddly fitting. Nostalgic, but cozy. Like when you are coming home from a long day, the sun is setting, and you see the lights on in everyone's windows.

I kind of wished we could get more night versions of music from Pokémon that's honestly what made Diamond and Pearl my favorites for so long. Great work Matt, it ain't half bad. Quite close to the mood of the game. I wonder how Saffron City's night theme would sound.

WOW, this is incredible— the piano 🤌 i’ve almost always preferred the night themes over the day themes in gen 4, so this is such a delight as a gen 3 fan!!

I love this! It's reminiscent of the end credits theme post E4, and the assets used are a flawless identical to the base game's. Those trumpets! This gave me feels in all the right ways! Thank you for this! Id for sure love to see you make more like it

Oh this is beautiful :) gen 3 has a very special place in my heart and this is making me very nostalgic. Great rendition of what a night theme could sound like!
