My 19 year old son was diagnosed with AML in 2019. It's a rough disease. His WBC count was 188,000 at diagnosis, and it was also in his cerebral-spinal fluid. I hope you're doing well now.

I had a rash in 1981 and my gyn told me to go to er and I was found to have thrombocytopenia purpera. I was fortunate to find it wasn't something worse. I was having an allergic reaction to Motrin. I was taking that for endometriosis. I was in hospital for 9 days. Iwas given a bone marrow biopsy which scared me thinking it could be a cancer. I was very fortunate.
