8 Moves New Players Probably Don't Know About In UFC 4

At 3:21, covering the Stiff arm retreat, I might've confused some of you by saying it's "Unique to Jon Jones"... I meant it's something Jon Jones popularized in MMA, not that ONLY Jones can do in the game. Every fighter in the game can do that.

Would be nice if you did more tutorials talking about your system in depth. You've touched on aspects of it but it would be nice to get a deep dive on it via a video or blogpost. Would be also nice to get a video on predicting opponents.

Could we possibly get one of these videos for the ground and clinch meta? Sometimes feel completely powerless in some positions and would love to know if there's more I can be doing.

I've been playing for a year and didn't know how to do a couple of these thanks Martial. As far as actual moves go one of my favorite discoveries is Lead Hook + 360 Spinning Tornado Kick or Lead Hook + Lead Hook Kick when you do either of those with the right timing your character uses the momentum of the hook to go into the kick faster making them a little safer to throw.

I just wanted to say I love your content, and would love to see you talk about contextual grappling, and clinch transitions, and the crazy scrambles.

Hey martial i believe the clinch is the hardest and most niche thing to learn in ufc 4. Can we get an overeem showcase where you show us the ins and outs of the clinch?

At 3:21 Justin Gaetjhe has his own unique block when you push those buttons that nullifies round shots without costing you your block. Good for hook spammers or when you start getting people annoyed while dodging the straight shots and you know a hook or headkick is coming. Keep in mind you’re completely vulnerable to straight shots though (jabs/straights, uppercuts, front kicks, and flying knees) so it’s something that shouldn’t be completely relied on since you can quickly fuck your health up against someone who knows it

The push works vs kickers too, you can usually get guys to the ground when theyre on one leg. Its supposed to be a good counter for knees too but it doesnt work that well with the speed of the knee The leaning push cross and jabs are really good because if they block they get stuck in an animation and freezes them a little. Its good to triple up the jab and third one use the leaning jab. The leaning cross is good too when you know guys are playing the pull counter game. Throwing it to the body is good to catch guys who back up a little too For the lunging shots the lunging cross usually works the best. Sometimes when guys back up a lot and youve caught them with low kicks early and know theyll defend low and they move you can hit a lead hook into a lunging lead hook.

I've noticed that the push only actually works if your opponent is throwing a shot when you do it, it cancels your shot and favours theirs.
