0:29 - 0:44 is my favorite part, the way Mikey flows through the scene, and the shadows of Donnie and Raph (the lyrics really fit here omg) I'm in so much awe of this animatic

“There is a world were I help you get home, but that’s not a world I know” oh my gosh. This makes me wanna cry. All your animatics are beautiful.

One of my favorite shots from the movie was when Future Mikey settled onto his feet to open the portal, because it looked like the Earth had to pull him out of the air, like Mikey no longer really belonged upon it. I really loved that you included a similar moment here. Throughout this, the grief and acceptance on Mikey’s face just absolutely takes me out at the knees.

Mikey controlling the smoke and making images of his brothers out of it is just so creative and beautiful, I love it

I love how fluid you made Mikey's movements, and the way his cape moved with him, and how you established the smoke from the candles and used them as a tool to use in the narrative, and I love their expressions, and the Mikey's pupiless expression and I love the final shot with Mikey's burning bandana to represent not only the loss of his life but also the loss of his childhood and identity, and that final passage with only the music in the background and ARGH HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD?? AT MAKING ME HURT???

As a musical theatre kid first and foremost we’ve GOT to acknowledge the vocals of this singer there’s so much emotion in his voice which is perfect for the turtles’ personalities and own voicing of emotion and grief– and holy crap the lyrics and orchestration are so freaking good, the entire edit itself is so chilling from Mikey’s graceful illustration to seeing the last two brothers together and the way these lyrics work so well with the story???

Oh my goodness gracious, once again you're absolutely knocking it out of the park with this! How gracefully Mikey moves, it really shows how much he's mastered himself and his powers- excellent work once again!

Keeping this on loop while I draw Future Mikey and LORDY it helps a lot. The vibes are immaculate and fit him so well. And the art is so perfect- I adore this idea of Mikey. I really wish we got to see more of him in the movie.

0:21 MIKEY REACHING FOR LEO THROUGH THE SMOKE LIKE HE'S OPENING A PORTAL. I. I AM FOAMING AT THE MOUTH DON'T DO THIS TO ME OP Edit: me realizing the "It's no longer you" isn't Mikey telling Leo he's going to die before he finds peace (like I originally assumed the song was saying, and like how Leo originally would assume in MNMC). Instead it's Mikey morning the amount of loss of Leo's sense of self, and that he'll only reunite with the turtle fam so scathed by the horrors that he'll become almost unrecognizable from where he is in the animatic. Officially devastated I will never recover

Phenomenal. The flowy ethereal way Mikey moves is just incredible and so perfect for this song❤ Also I don’t know why but the way Mikey lands softly on his tiptoes like a ballerina and how he drops so naturally into the musical spins makes me feel like he’s been practicing ballet in tandem with his mystic powers

I WILL NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT HOW INCREDIBLE AND SHOWSTOPPING THIS FANDOM IS CAUSE HOLY W OOOOOOW W - I just love how tight knit and passionate we all are- Making animatics for fics, and the fics reflecting inside jokes from outside of it- We're so passionate not only about the show, but what we as a fandom make and it's honestly so incredible to see. Not only do we create SHOWSTOPPING WORKS OF ART- We create it for eachother AND MAN, I CANT, THATS FUCKING BRAUTIFUL.
