Put a half of a tooth pick in the tail end of a worm and cause the tail to float

I picked up a bag of 100 tiny little black rubber bands for 1.25 and it’s crazy how useful they have been on so much stuff, especially soft plastics and doing a wacky type rig. I just started doing the Toothpick peg last year and I like that a lot.
  • Some great ideas. See the one where you feed a fishing line through a soft plAstic paddle tail and have a stinger hook on the end.The line through the lure ties to a front hook and weight or do the weight Carolina I use on those small bite days!!

Great tips, I especially like the small blade out in front of the Texas rigged worm.

Try coloring 'cow' spots on the belly of a white or any light-colored frog for that matter. Just something different, when they are being picky. Definitely works for me every now and then. Another great video my man

I have used the small zip ties on the rubber bands for spinnerbaits before fall apart.

You need a neon yellow Sharpie, AKA chartruese. They also make neon orange.

I've pulled the squirt through a couple soft baits and yes I have gotten more bites 💯💪💪

I have use the skirt technique with the yamatanuki. Rubber skirting material outperform silicone skirt.i use this tech when the little fish bite the tail off
  • @scottsoucy6186
Adding the skirt material basically turns your plastic bait into a FuzzE Grub, if you're old enough to remember them.
