  • Every shower head in my house is a hand held shower head. You just take it down and spray the whole area down after scrubbing it down. I installed one when my children were little. But after I discovered how nice they rinse the area clean, I never went back. No more splashing a thousand cups full of water like you were doing. When I remodeled my bathrooms and requested them, the plumber told his wife. She changed all of hers. They make really nice ones now that can feel like a spa message. Love your videos.❤
  • The broom hack is ideal. I might go buy the dollar tree one with different handles 😊
  • 🤣I use a spaghetti spoon to reach my laundry in the washer and drier. I call them my fingers. I have a pair hanging in my laundry area. I also use it them to reach things in the back of my cabinet. Also, I keep a fancy plate by the sink. I keep a scouring pad and a dish scraper on them. I use them to cute down on dish chores!!! Must your dusting sock so the dust clings to the sock and doesn’t get thrown into the air. Thank you for all the amazing ideas!!!
  • Love everything you shared here! I do most of the things you recommended - I fold and put away laundry as soon as the dryer is finished; I do dishes/load the dishwasher immediately after meals/snacks - no sitting down for a “minute” or it won’t get done til the morning (and then I’m less happy to do it at the beginning of the day!), and I make the bed (and so does every family member since the kids were preschoolers) every morning before anyone sits down for breakfast. These things make a HUGE difference ❤

Candice, you don't need to scrub dishes hard when you fill the sink with dish soap and pretty warm (almost hot) water. Put whatever item in the sink, let it soak a moment, say, wash the counter off and come back to it and it should come off pretty fast. Thanks for the tip regarding the toilet. I'm going to try that. The shower is my worst thing to clean hands down.
  • I don't know why so many organization experts recommend doing laundry daily. When I tried this my water bill went through the roof, I will never go back to everyday, it is a complete waste of money. Twice a week is plenty for my husband and I.

One of my family members and I have reacted to household cleaners, including some organic or “natural” ones. I do almost all of my cleaning with vinegar and baking soda. I love your tub cleaning tip and will try it.

Oh you are SO right about the laundry! I am excited to try your trick for the shower too! Love the tips for the toilet thank you!

The broom in the shower trick made me LoL but it’s brilliant!
  • Oh Candice I love the idea of the broom to clean the tub. I've had 4 back surgeries and bad knees and I just dread that chore and cleaning the toilet. I will be cleaning my shower today. In the bottle is it full strength dish soap or is it deluded?
  • Great tips. I especially agree about the laundry one. I put my washing away as soon as my tumble dryer has finished. I hate loads of washing around the house all day waiting to be put away. A lot of people in the UK won’t use a tumble dryer & dry their washing outside on the line etc or indoors on radiators & drying racks etc on a rainy day. Not me. I use my tumble dryer all through the year, including the summer & also never iron anything. If possible, please could you do a video on cleaning routines on a daily, weekly & monthly basis? It would be so helpful. By the way, your dog is so cute. x
  • The tub hands down is my least fave chore. Also Bcuz some days I truly struggle physically with all the bending over and reaching (I have an extra deep tub with jets that I truly love using, but cleaning it...not so much. Lol). Love all the baking soda tips.

Wonderful video! Any chance you could make a free printable covering your daily, weekly, monthly and annual cleaning routine? It would be super helpful!
  • I’m going to start doing the monthly 21 items declutter. I’m super excited I also need to declutter my garage lol 😮
