This doesn’t feel anything like the book! I'm happy we got an adaptation but the book was sooooo good. And why would you make Jane a sword fighting badass? She was smart, shy and very funny, for God's sake she fought with a frying pan! People please read the book before you make any judgements. And where's Elizabeth?????

At least this adaptation got one thing right, Jane Grey’s parents were abusive pieces of garbage.

As someone who’s watched the show, it’s fantastic. I haven’t read the book and the first ep didn’t catch me but I ended up adoring it. And Jane only really uses a sword once in reference to the top comment.
