I am only five minutes in and I can confidently say that you are one of the most elegant instructors I have seen on YouTube.

I've worked in IT for over 15 years but having had a career break I needed a quick refresh on AD&GP. Could not have found a better video. Straight to the point, well narrated, well paced and slim enough to cover the main points you need to know. Highly recommended video.

I needed to know enough of AD to be able to answer some interview questions, as I have not used it since 2005... I have been a tech for about 30 yrs. I forget things that I don't use. This Video Tut. is awesome! Great job in explaining, and your vocab is perfect. Thank you Kevin.

This has been one of the best videos I've found on YouTube. You've explained the how and the why in a way I can easily understand. I'll be signing up for more of your courses on payday as there is much more I need to learn. Thank you for this video.
  • Great video explaining Active Directory and group policy. Perfect for someone pursuing a career in IT. Thanks. Pls ignore my Personal notes: Active directory (AD) = Role in server. Once AD installed system becomes a "Domain Controller". Benefit of AD = Centralized Administration. Can create policies. Can manage all users and computers. No need to be in front of physical PC to do things such as, reset PW or Create user accounts. Should have at least 2 Domain controllers. AD replicates to other Domain controllers.

First, I want to thank you Mr.Kevin so much for the great explanation🙏💫 Second, If someone doesn't get why we have the best practice of "At least two domain controllers" as he said in "the summary part" It is because we want the solution to be redundant and fault-tolerant. Thus, if one domain controller fails or becomes unreachable, other domain controllers can continue to provide the service. So by that, we achieved multiple benefits such as: 1- Redundancy 2- Replication 3- Load distribution 4- Geographical distribution
  • This video is awesome! Your explanation are simple, straightforward and easy to understand! Thank you so much Kevin!
