2:40 that "im sorry" is absolutely heartbreaking. Its not often you see a superhero in a situation where they simply cannot save someone, no matter how hard theyre trying.

You can actually see how the symbiote tries several times to bond with peter, as it sees peter to be the better host

Can we just talk about how Peter really said "I'm sorry ..." with such sadness in his voice . 😢
  • this is probably the warmest reaction from one of Harry's variant in finding out Peter is Spiderman, lol.. i mean it kinda makes sense since Pete didn't kill his father or anything.. it's kinda refreshing...

dang he really thought he was about to be a superhero with his best friend

I think Harry might be the only person to recognise Peter from his voice
  • Honestly, hats off to Insomniac for making Harry and Peter's friendship and betrayal so heartbreaking and depressing. I love their chemistry and dynamic so much. They're such good friends, and it's also awesome to see them get to bond even more once they start teaming up as Spider-Man and Agent Venom. I legit just want more stories featuring these two being good friends and getting along, because their friendship is so wholesome and adorable. I really felt it when they were ripped apart and turned on each other, it was so heart wrenching omg. This adaptation of the Venom storyline wasn't perfect and had its flaws, but it was still really good and got to me in a way that a lot of the other adaptations haven't. The last time I was this emotionally invested in the Venom storyline in an adaptation was when I watched The Spectacular Spider-Man for the first time, which is the gold standard imo. I went into this version feeling very skeptical, but damn it got me good. :(

The fact they had Harry accept Pete as Spider-Man made me realize and appreciate that more as a whole. Harry is Pete's best friend. Of course, anything that Pete would do, Harry wouldn't doubt he's doing it for the right thing. Not only that, it creates a stronger bond for not only them but the audience as well. With the bond between Harry and Peter, it becomes more impactful when they are torn apart. And experiencing it becomes more emotionally grasping. It is so simple, yet powerful, even now, as we've seen so many of the iterations of their friendship, it is damn refreshing that they act like real best friends/brothers. Well done Insomiac.

Harry "I don't know how to use my powers yet" Peter "start by jumping off this roof. See ya"
  • He just left him in the roof , like “Screw it you got powers. Ow figure it out”
  • @kumarayush9950
"swing by" .. he used that on call with Martin Li in first game too, he always meant literally
  • 3:30 anyone else feel like this is such a Sam Raimi Spider-man feeling? The music, the audience watching Peter swing and seeing them in a distant shot swinging away
  • @Hawkatana
Yuri Lowenthal continuing to cement himself as the only Spidey actor to rival Josh Keaton.

Legendary moment was when Harry said "Its Harrin time". Truly a masterpiece of a game.
  • @JoeFanik
I’m honestly pretty surprised that Peter didn’t tell Harry about his secret. The phone interactions in the first game made it seem like he already knew
  • @ameemrashaad2038
That sorry as he thought he was gonna lose this person was soo gut wrenching when I played it. I thought I was actually gonna lose her.
  • Very impressed with the way he lifted that rollercoaster lol Spider-Man is strong af.
  • @KidEmperor11
Harry: guess I am a Spider-Man too roll credits
  • @EJSweaty

  • @Jack-kx5em
Harry Osborn: Peter you're Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Long story buddy, a long time.
