  • I drive for door dash for my job and these videos are my absolute favorite to listen to while I work. Thank you for being a great story teller Joel!

I'm a park ranger, but my job isn't nearly this scary, hahah! I've been deep out in the woods alone, out on fire calls, etc...but the scariest thing is still the people.

Me, a park ranger: 👀✨ And friendly reminders to campers and hikers: Please listen to rangers, follow park rules, always grab a map even if you know the park, and stay on official trails... so many nightmarish scenarios can be avoided (and always bring water!!) 🙏🏻

I'm glad to hear the resolution to that first story. I've heard those kind of stories not ending well (like on MrBallen) and it's good to hear the culprits got theirs.
  • Park ranger/deep woods/camping are my favourites! More please! 🥰
  • The ending to the first story was well put. We humans are the scariest animal on planet earth because of how messed up our creativity can become if left to wander into darker corners.

The Tribeč mysteries are really interesting, and cool to hear here because I live literally the next country over (Czechia). The most popular theory about it is that people fell into old mine shafts since the mountains are riddled with them and if a fog falls, its difficult to navigate the paths. There is also a pretty cool movie based on the mystery called Rift
  • Joel's "And remember ..." quotes at the end of these videos are the best part.

About story from Slovakia. Tribeč and mysteries around it got pretty famous when slovakian horror/crime author, his name being Jozef Karika, came with horror book called the rift (Trhlina). The book is about someone, a guy, that wanted to meet this author to tell a personal story of him and his crew investigating the mysteries. Of course it went wrong. I to this day am not really sure if it is based on a true story or not, but regardless it is very good book. Not to mention is has a connection to 411 missing cases book series by David Paulides. Author even mentions David Paulides several times. Basically the whole premise is that these strange disappearences appear all around the world, not only in USA national parks.
  • Listened for 5 years this is the earliest I've ever been. Hi Joel from the UK.

That first story sounds similar to the lady from Carolina that got jumped by her "friends" and left to die in Cancun
  • @ju-did-ith
Sweet dreams everyone :_LetsReadButtersock: And as always thank you for your pillow talks Joel
  • @sene6674
Love how you have a variety of different horror stories ranging from careers, countries, etc.!
  • Suicide by self immolation is more common than what a lot of people like to believe. Around 15 yrs ago a family member of mine spent some time in our regional burn unit due to a bon fire accident. While he was there, two patients were there due to failed suicide attempts. One was much like the method in the story and the other had doused herself in gasoline, sat in a chair, and lit herself. And before anyone claims HIPPA or anything, families spent many hours together in the waiting room.
  • Thank you Joel can’t wait to hear. My night just got even better you’re the man.😎
  • @kalabee87
