Gogeta was represented so well in the Broly movie, especially since the movie takes place after the tournament of power. This means that with Goku and Vegeta fused, they would definitely be able to beat a saiyan who lived on a lone planet for years. I mean a super saiyan, even at full power should not be able to compete with the power of a god. If this was an unavoidable situation, at least it worked out really good, and definitely worked out better than a majority of the tournament of power's fight scenes; even if I do love that saga as a whole.
