Fun Fact: Mauryan empire could have expanded more, but Ashoka decided to make the empire peaceful after he saw the bloodshed in the war of Kalinga.

But the governments of India have compressed this whole History into a page. India Historic Textbook are filled with Mughal History and British Raj. They just ignored the rich Heritage of India, the contribution of all these Empires in History is just unknown for the new generation(including me). ๐๐๐
