Think about the last tine a situation tested your patience; earlier today at 18:30hrs with an obnoxious colleague, instead of responding negatively, I embraced the stoic principles and controlled the situation whilst maintaining my equanimity. It was relieving to see my colleague upset that I did not respond with conflict or aggression. I felt calm and peaceful knowing I did not react impulsively. Stoicism is the way of life.
  • I’m 45 & cold turkey gave up alcohol 8 months ago & realised this since. Better late than never & finally moving forward in life instead of being everyone’s doormat

This is the stuff kids should be learning in schools at an early age.

A long time ago I started adopting Stoic principles while going through depression. More than anything else it helped me through. Maybe odd but more often than not my track is smooth and not a rollercoaster. More good than sad.

The way you start by saying, " Today we are going to go deep into the heart of Stoicism"", makes me pay attention more than necessary 🙏

Reacting to stuff kept my life messy and stressed out, I knew it was happening, from the beginning but couldn't get a grip on things until I began to embrace Stoic principles. Was my life all negative and stressful, no but it contained a lot of it and it made me uncomfortable and this lack of ease eventually pushed me into Stoicism.
  • Law of attraction.....relies on not reacting to situations, rather observe them and go with the flow. Great video.
  • I realize resilience can learn that human design to use effectively our own thought

This sounds so good and so simple yet it’s so hard for me to do all the time. Great inspiration. If I can make this work for me I will be a much happier person. Stop & reflect before reacting with emotions. I’ve regretted so many confrontations by reacting on unbalanced emotions. I wish I found this long ago. I have to implement this process in my life. Pause instead of spaz.

Stoicism isn’t just philosophy; it’s a toolkit for life. This video perfectly explains that. Well done!
