“He’d be powerless without the other vees” The details of Val and Velvet holding laughs is crazy
  • @Tiosedan
I love how Vox is quick, loud, flashy and unstable, while Alastor is methodical, cordial, simple and reliable. Makes the themes of new VS vintage even better!

5:06 Did anyone notice the servant's detail? IT'S LITERALLY THE ROBOT SERVANT IN FIZZAROLLI'S LOOK
  • @Takoto-kay
5:26 the fact that vox looked happy when he thought angel quited lmao-
  • @ZZDoesStuffYT
The fact Alastor's mug says "Oh deer!" is comedy gold
  • @Jonathan_Collins
The fact that Vox got destroyed by the person he's dissing on his OWN DISS TRACK is gold. Their rivalry seems so one-sided with Vox absolutely seething just by hearing Alastor's name and Al seeing him as a minor inconvenience...

you know what id love to see one day? a blooper reel from every va working on hazbin and helluva because i can just imagine the fun theyve had with some of these lines XD
  • Having it start with Vox saying “I’m gonna make you wish you stayed gone” to end with Alastor saying “I’m gonna make you wish I stayed gone” is such a power move and uno reverse card.

Alastor elegantly going "well, that's the tea" gives me so much joy. ‏‪ ‏‪10:34‬‏
  • I love how every song Alastor sings is just a revised version of what was sang earlier and also how all V's represent different aspects of how humanity can be influenced. Vox being cable, news media, Velvette being trendy social media, and Valentino being adult content.
  • I love Vox's design, its so good, I also love how his voice changes when he gets angry or annoyed

Much as I dissect and objectively point out the writing in these shows like a frog in science class, I find it subjectively humorous that Vox emphasizes to Val so much about not hurting their brand’s image, yet the second Alastor is mentioned, he literally does that with his diss track. Made all the more ironic because Alastor dissed him as a minor inconvenience. That part was gold.

1:34 The “oh deer” cup was so well fitted into the episode.

"Stayed Gone" is such a fantastic song. It perfectly establishes Vox and Alastor's dynamic. The fact fact Vox was so hot-headed and felt the need to assert dominance in the first place, while Alastor stays collected and nonchalant already suggests who's superior. But the way Alastor just casually tunes in, hits Vox back even harder, and completely airs out is dirty laundry just proves it. And then there's the end, with Alastor giving his own warning and showing his demon form. It's awesome, creepy, and let's us know for certain he's got a hidden agenda. And ot's going to change everything.
  • Alastor perfectly demonstrates that you don't have to lie and cheat all the time to be a villain. He's clearly beyond dodgy and yet he never tells an outright lie or refuses to answer a direct question, and it both funnier and more sinister for it.

“Your’re a loser baby, a loser but maybe if we just eat -“ NO 😭

At 5:28 Vox's fucking face when Val breaks his phone is priceless XD
