Manshiyat Naser is a city on the outskirts of the Moqattam Hills in the Cairo region of Egypt. Approximately 258,372 people lived in this city according to the 2017 census. The city is completely enveloped by garbage, which can be found everywhere. Garbage lines the streets and even covers the roofs of residential homes. Markets, restaurants, and playgrounds have merged with garbage. Even more concerning, the city lacks sewage systems, flowing water, or electricity for daily use.
