It's posterboard, actually. Close enough. Anyway, here's the history of the United States flag.

Do you think there will be more stars (or less) on the future American flag? Let me know in the comments what you think. :) And thank you for watching!

Many of you are asking about the "Betsy Ross" flag, which had 13 stars in a circle pattern. But I used the "Francis Hopkinson" grid pattern in this video, which was more common than the circle one. You can read more about different 13-star patterns here: www.rareflags.com/rareflags_collecting_13.htm

Imagine if we continued to add stripes for each new state

The fact that he cut the paper in the shape of the states shows his dedication. Respect

Bob Heft designed the 50 States Flag in 1958 as a high school project. And his design is continuing to flow in American winds 64 years later.

Am I the only one who finds him "throwing" the state stars on the flag like extremely satisfying?

New state: joins union America: it's a star⭐
  • Nobody gonna talk about the hard work he put in a 4 min video? He cut out all of the states, the stars and the stripes, plus he explained everything
  • I just realized america is the only country with an active flag that could change at any time, that accurately displays the current state of the nation

I actually want more states now just to spice up the flag a bit, although I do love the nice even arrangement we have now
