Waiting at this very minute for my stupid simple black GR IIIx to arrive! I like the looks of the urban edition, but ironically it’s not as stealthy as the regular one. Whatever floats your boat. 😁✌️❤️

Love my basic black one that is much more low key for shooting folks in public … did add the bronze ring to make it feel like mine … even tho know was a silly way to spend money 😂

Urban edition seems have more reflection on body surface. I’d prefer original black.

Beautiful camera. I like the look more than the yellow road stripe look of the griii special edition. Would be cool to see other colors than the graphic and black for the body too. Maybe like a green again like one of the older GR digital, or a tab safari like the Pentax auto safari edition :D

I somehow only found out now about this urban edition. The main reason that I never got a GR IIIx was that my black edition GR III looks too similar, which would make it hard to pick the correct camera out of my bag. The urban edition solves that issue. Good on Ricoh. I hope I won't be too late to get one...

Ha Niels, veel plezier met de nieuwe camera! Op je vraag, moet een camera zwart zijn of is zo'n special edition leuk? Zo vind ik als echte nikon-fan het heel leuk dat ze bij de nikon zfc met allemaal verschillende kleuren gaan komen .... zwartkijkers as we say in Holland zijn er al genoeg tenslotte ...... 😅😅😅😅

It’s a gimmick… it’s not worth the extra cash just for a ‘blue’ piece of plastic, different finish and the blue trim to the strap… save the money and buy the GRIIIx. I have the GRIIIx…

Lijkt precies op de GRIII street edition behalve de ring dan, heb alleen mijn twijfels bij de naam. Bij Urban fotografie wil je eigenlijk een zo wijd mogelijk perspectief en bij straatfotografie een beeld wat je kan vergelijken met het menselijke oog. Eigenlijk net andersom.
