We've shot a few vehicles with Dustin from Nostalgia Hotrods and I've been waiting quite a while for this one. It's taken over 8 years and more than $1 million to build this completely handcrafted one off 1969 Plymouth Road Runner and is one of the finest builds I've ever seen so sit back and enjoy the ride...

At the beginning of the video Shawn stated “you either love car or you hate it” Well he nailed it. Visually some elements of the build are stunning while others, not so much. One thing for sure is that the build quality is second to none!
  • @392coronet
So if every piece of metal on this car has been replaced with something different why not build the car from the ground up and leave the original RR alone. 🤔
  • @TheBadBone23
The amount of skill a person involved in this type of build must have is unbelievable. Outstanding build!
  • @WAKEANDBAKEINC
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AMAZINGLY AWESOME PIECE OF ART THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY 57 YRS ON THIS PLANET. GOOD LAWD

I'm 68 , and work part time in a restoration shop, with lots of old mopars, it great to see young guys that are this good!
  • @clodbusted1776
My favorite car of all time. I've had dozens of them. It's cool to see someone build one like this. Most mopar guys restore their cars to factory original and hate on anything that strays away from that. 👍 awesome work!
  • @josecolotl698
Dude I just love how he gives each builder the respect and listens to how their builds came to br
  • @busyend
Its a bit to much for me, but the craftsmanship is next level.
  • @GadgetyMV
Fabulous car, and very impressive, yet I can't help but feel that the very clean original car was unnecessary to start from, could have preserved that and started with something in far worse shape since so much is completely changed anyway - all panels, frame, engine etc.

Car building at this level may be the only area left where true creativity, craftsmanship, and hand-crafted art still come together to produce the best that humans are capable of. Cars at this level belong on a pedestal in a museum more than on a pot-holed street. This car is one example of the best of what we can produce. I might not be able to build something of this quality but I can certainly be in awe of it and appreciate it. Huge kudos to everyone involved in this project, from owner to builders, and thank you for bringing this work of art to life.

The exterior is wild and the interior is just bonkers, but my favorite part of the car is the interior lighting. I don't think I've ever said that about a car, LOL! I can see why it took 8yrs to to make this happen. Congrats on a super cool ride!!
  • @studio571
That interior is amazing , front spoiler and rear of the car looks bit odd but everyone has there own taste 👍
  • @RainMakr
I’m sorry I don’t see a million dollar car. Albeit I see amazing workmanship. If they used a perfect car to start with, why not start from the beginning with a bad one. As all the chassis and panels were replaced. Some of the touches I like, some just do not float for me, the rear for instance reminds me of the 90’s. Well done to the builder - it certainly is a car that will cause a fuss.
  • @1ls376
When describing the finished product, one words comes to mind. "OOOPS".
  • @thomasnathan8035
Seen this Car on Tik Tok couple weeks ago, found out it was built by Nostalgia Hot Rods so sooner or later I knew it would be featured on Autotopia LA, and here it is👌👍love watching this Channel, Shawn and Crew keep up the good work guys💯
  • @jayweiss4378
I Iike it when it’s more stock on the outside and has the chrome bumpers…. but not hating this at all! It’s really neat and the amount of work that went in is something to admire and respect! Nice work
  • It's amazing to think about the amount of time, effort, and money that went into creating such a stunning and one-of-a-kind vehicle.
  • @dannymccarty344
Amazing there's people that can afford a toy like this. The shop that did this has talented employee's. 30 years collision repair, only met a handfull of guys on this level skill. Outstanding, sir!
