At 85, Ali MacGraw Reveals the Horrors of Steve McQueen Divorce

It always amazes me that women who cheat with a married man are astonished when that same man cheats on them 🤔🤔

Ali and Steve McQueen were both married when they took up with each other. There could never be any trust between them. She had a young baby at the time and McQueen's 2 children were small. As they say, you can't build a life on the misery you cause others.

It's hard to believe we all got so damn old!

Once upon, a long time ago, I was in Beverly Hills. A beautiful woman with a small, pretty girl of about 6 years old, were on an escalotor just ahead of me. As they were about to step off the child's dress got somehow caught on the moving steps. The child started to panic as did the mom. I grabbed the child's dress and ripped it away from the moving steps. I recognized the woman, Ali McGraw. Just want to say hello and hope you are doing well in NM. God Bless you and all your family.

Two damaged people destroy two families and everything else in their paths so that they can live a lust, drug, and alcohol fueled life together and we are supposed to feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for the people damaged by these two selfish, self-pitying creatures. I realize we all have our own crosses to bear and no one is perfect, but I really wish the media would stop glamorizing emotionally and spiritually stunted people just because they're pretty.

He was repeatedly unfaithful. I read her autobiography, it was a very good read. I actually met her at the book launch in London. She is a beautiful lovely lady.

I met Ali at LAX in the early 1980's and to this day, she is one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

I always loved Ali MaacGraw. Steve MacQueen was an excellent actor but a terrible male partner. He was cruel and selfish. Claiming to be a generous husband and lover...he was anything but. He was little more than a control freak and destructive spouse. A lot like my ex.

Very interesting. i have always liked Ali McGraw and thought she was a beautiful woman and wonderful actress. The first time i ever saw her in Love Story i really liked her a lot. That was a very sad and emotional movie. I am 80 and spent a lot of time single in my life and raising my daughter alone with no help. I was briefly married 3 times but alcohol and substance abuse and adultery was just too miserable for me. I would rather be single. I got rid of my last husband 30 years ago. I don't date or have a social life. I spend all my time with my daughter's family and grandchildren and great grandson who just turned 5. I keep him about 5 days a week and we have a ball together. i don't need a sorry man to make me happy. I am like Ali and love animals a lot and children. i have had about 50 cats and dogs over the years. I lost my last kitty George about three years ago. It rips out my heart every time i lose one. it is like losing a family member. i don't think i can go thru that again. I am so glad Ali is doing good. I remember those days like they were last year. Ali and Steven were on every Enquirer cover and on numerous other gossip mags every single week. They were definitely the Big News. It’s a shame Ali lost her career over it. There was no one like her.

She has aged gracefully! She is still very beautiful!

I remember Ali and Steve, they were two of my favorites in those times, separately and together. I continue to be impressed with her. She has continued to promote positive and worthy causes - yoga, animal rescue, a writer. She has made a good life for herself. It's too bad Steve didn't have time to turn his life around. Many of us have childhood wounds, it takes time to heal.
