They both dropped incredible albums. I want to see another Pusha x Kendrick collabo

It really does depend on mood and preference. It's Almost Dry DEFINITELY has more replay value, but it was designed that way. Braggy coke raps over Pharrell and Kanye production. While Mr. Morale is DEFINITELY the deeper album. It's Kendrick basically having a therapy session on wax. I think regardless of which artist wins Album of the Year at the Grammy's, its a win for hip hop and the culture. We're also forgetting that Denzel Curry, Vince Staples, and Future dropped amazing albums this year as well.

Both are strong albums but for me the honesty of Kendrick’s album gets my vote for album of the year.
  • @Major98
Both albums are in the conversation for sure
  • @officielEP
Both men can rap their asses off... I enjoyed both projects... They're not comparable, they're just two different styles both well executed
  • Pusha's album is a bop for sure, but it doesn't push the boat creatively. Its still the same coke rap we been getting for 20 years. Sure, he is great at it...but it covers the same ground. What Kendrick is able to do with his versatility and the range of topics he is able to cover while still sounding dope, is just unmatched. No one else is doing what he is doing.
  • Pusha is my guy and 'Daytona' is a bona fide classic. That being said, let's not get it twisted. His new LP is not even close to Kendrick's offering. 'Mr Morale and the Big Steppers' is lightyears beyond 'It's Almost Dry.' K Dot is shifting minds and hearts globally with that album. Not to mention, the shit is a no skips slapper that is sonically orchestrated with digital and analogue sounds, backup vocal harmonies akin to the Motown Soul era, and all kinds of other ill shit. And don't get me started lyrically with 'Count Me Out', 'Father Time' and 'Mother I Sober'. Add in all that game Kodak Black was talking and rapping, and we have nothing short of a true classic, and a top tier contender for A.O.T.Y Mind you, I purchased the physical autographed copy of Pusha T's album. That's my guy. So no shade here. But his new LP is no 'Daytona', though I love the hell out of 'I.A.D' Just my 🪙🪙 🤷🏽‍♂️

For me so far I'm putting my money on It's Almost Dry 🔥it was my first time actually listening to Push and I realized how much I've been missing out.... lately I've been catching up on a few past albums and dude's nice🔥

Pusha T is the zlatan Ibrahimovic of the rap world. Larger than life ( In his mind). It's Almost Dry is a really good album. A really well produced album. Replayable, more than Mr Morales for sure but it's not a better album than Mr Morale. Yes, Kendrick's album is not radio friendly and if he was an underground rapper, would not have received any air time at all but I haven't seen a better album than Mr Morale this year. It's a really well engineered album: Production, subject matter (which is subjective of course), lyricism, ambitious, cohesive. The album is like a movie and only The weekend latest come close. You mustn't like it or replay it, but be objective enough to understand greatness.
  • I feel kinda bad for not enjoying it almost dry. Push is dope AF I've actually met him and no malice when they randomly walked by my office in downtown Columbus. Very cool individuals. But I'm a fan of music and not the artist. KDOT's albums are magnificent. You cannot compare KDots to any other rap album's.
  • @loneryee
When it all said and done alot of y'all will return to Kendrick's album. Understanding their never should have been a debate to begin with. By then it'll be too late.
  • Mr. Morale is album of the year or melt my eyes see your future
  • Kendricks album is an amazing piece of art , it also touches on topics you don't hear rappers talking about more often or not at all , for example the depth he took on father time and AUNTIES DIARIES was incredible , on top of that he gave us a project that after five years we will go back to listen to the ideas he was rapping bout , it all drains down to preference but I think most people don't like to admit that the album it's incredible coz when everybody loves someone and that someone is this amazing there is only one way to stand out.
  • I loved pusha ts album until Mr morale came out... let's be honest. No way in hell anyone can say it's almost dry is a better album than Mr morale
