Back in the 70's I played this Traffic album over and over until the grooves were worn down. This old English folk song personifying barley grain was covered by Traffic at a time when British rock interpretations of such songs were all the rage, mostly as a result of the pioneering work in the genre by Richard Thompson, Sandy Denny and Fairport Convention.
