Oh dang, I did not know that about Yourself, he’s actually just BF, in a horrible world, the poor dude suffered the fate of loss and couldn’t cope with it, I really thought he was just “Boyfriend.exe”, but that is actually quite sad, poor guy.

Personal, I like to think Yourself or Lookalike has nothing to do with a alternative timeline, rather that Lookalike comes back from being scrapped to finally sing in a real mod, making his creator, Divide, finally proud.

Honestly i haven’t been in the fnf community in years but the silly billy song really surprised me and actually like shocked me on how good it was lol

when he says "my way" i think he means like, what happened in his timeline, the way his timeline went down. And when he says "be proud of me" he must mean that he wants him to be proud of the decision he made, to go crazy and hysterical.

So there's, allegedly, more lore to silly Billy. From what I have learned, the original creator Divide (Commonly referred to as divine) was an original modder for the sonic.exe mods and died in his sleep due to cancer. Someone found some older concepts of yourself. The team then made this mod referencing him which is such a great story here. "I'll make you say how proud you are of me" Refers to divine being proud of what the team who made this did. "So stay awake just long enough to see my way" Refers to divine dying in his sleep and not seeing the project done. Is this a fact? No clue, I saw it off a comment, but making all of this up is crazy.

Yourself/Lookalike was a cancelled character of VS Sonic.EXE V3 before the mod got scrapped and in the fanmade V4 restored he gets a song named Eye-To-Eye where he's deemed BF.EXE instead of Lookalike, Lookalike was also one of the late Divide's characters

For who don't know the lyrics was actually made for divide (a dev who made sonic.exe mod that died) "I'll make you say how proud you are of me" means that they(their team divide works for) hope "divide" is proud of them after his death "So stay awake just long enough to see my way, my way" means his team wanted divide to be alive/Awake to see their progress or achievements Correct me if I'm wrong

A cool detail is that Yourself's arrows are on a mirror behind him. Considering BF's arrows are beind him as well, and we see the "world" throw a window, it's as if another player is controlling Yourself.
