One thing that’s stuck with me was when lil dicky said he waited until he had weeks and weeks worth of videos ready before he uploaded so he could post back to back to back without worrying and the algorithm would just see his weekly uploads and do it’s thing. What I took from that is that you should start making content before you even begin to post. Make videos for a while just for you and maybe people you trust for feedback. Then do that for a while and you will have had internal skill growth and learned a lot about video making without having the worries about getting views. Plus it will teach you a ton of patience. I would never try to make an internet content creator career run until I had Atleast 5 videos I was proud of and worth uploading so that I could post for Atleast 5 weeks before I had to start making new videos now with the feedback from the internet

Good info again, Matt. I agree it is wise to not send viewers away with links to other platforms. I used to use the Amazon Affiliate link to hopefully make a nickle or two but I realized I am far better off keeping people at my channel with links to some of my other videos. YouTube pays me more than Amazon by far. I also turn down about one sponsor per week for businesses that want my endorsement within the video for their product or service. Your advice is wonderful. I think with today's economy it will be helpful for new YouTubers to follow your suggestions and add some needed income to the budget while they do what they do well with their YouTube channel.

Great video. As someone who's recently joined the YouTube partner program I these are amazing tips. I would say though, that no one should start with the expectation of becoming monetized in a month! Consistency is key. Good luck everyone!
