Building a 5 Acre Pond! (Hydroseeding)

Happy holidays folks! Thanks for following along with the pond build in 2021, got some good projects lined up for 2022!

I’ve been following this build since the beginning. One of the best series on YouTube!

I wish you the best but if its dropping down that much when you turned the water off its going to take truck loads of bentonite to seal that off. Most likely there's a weak spot in the core trench but with that clay liner it should matter.

For the owner, I feel bad about the leak. From a content/story-telling perspective, this is absolutely perfect. Gotta love those surprise plot twists and continuing pond-adventures!

We just closed on a large plot of land and plan to build a pond roughly half this size and this series has given me the confidence that I can do it and do it right. 👍

Watched the back yard build to end. This has been just as amazing and such a undertaking. I'm sure the wild life love it more than we do. I so hope it becomes mobies home. He's the Hercules of all bass I've seen.

How very annoying that leak must be . So glad you were able find it and deal with it . I really enjoy seeing the wildlife with your night camera .

Your cams are like nature planet

You should paint a ruler directly on the outside of the standpipe. Maybe make a mark every 6 inches in a yellow or white paint, that way you can always tell the level of the pond.

WOW.. Those rabbits were so fast it looked like they flew. That surprised me how quick they were out of there. The mom was a hero she saved her baby, the coyote tried sneaking up on her smallest one.
