I will never understand how they took one of the coolest looking villains from the comics & went with such a lame design for the movie. But they did Rogue dirty too so 🤷‍♂️
  • I believe the main reason why Apocalypse ever loses is because of the 'plot': he's based on earth so he has to lose or all our characters are dead. While other overly powerful characters get to destroy planets that nobody cares about and therefore showing their immense strength, Apocalypse doesn't get that luxury which makes him look weaker.

"I Am as Faar Beyond Mutants.. as you are beyond Humans" - Apocalypse being a total boss
  • His actual species is either homo sapiens or(as Magneto liked to put it) "homo superior." He's a human mutant from Earth.

As a 44 year old man I find myself sitting here watching these videos back to back just reliving my childhood. I love apocalypse the best and feel my guy is just misunderstood 😂
  • Idk bout y’all, but Apocalypse was a lot shorter in the movie (Just so small) compared to his comic version. Dude played him pretty well, but they should’ve given him the Thanos CGI work up, in my opinion

The voice they used for him in the 90s cartoon was terrifying!

Can you imagine if Michael Duncan Clark was still living and he played Apocalypse? His size, his face, his voice and acting ability would have made PERFECT for that role. Omg. Plus if they would have done the C.G like the Transformers. DAMN. THAT would have been classic!

"I am not malevolent, I simply am! Which is more than I can say for you!" Apocalypse is the BEST!

Honestly Apocalypse has gotten the best rework / reboot of any Villain in marvel Post House Of X - Swords Of X. Seeing him not necessarily leave his role of " Villain " but being and Ally to the X Men and Krakoa. Having him sit down at a Table with Xavier, Jean, Scott, Magneto, Storm, Exodus, Mr. sinister, Emma Frost, Mystique and Shaw. And Giving us this organically softer side of his Character with the Introduction of His Wife and his multiple generations of Omega Level descendants. And the Entire Culture of Arraki Mutants. His new backstory reinforces his Darwinism ideology with more purpose and plot and less generic copy and paste villainy. It was interesting seeing how capable of a leader he could be in a political sense and how much wisdom and resources he had to provide the X Men as an Ally.

When I saw his version in the movie man I said "thats Ivan Ooze's cousin" 😂
  • I remember when he was first on the X-Men animated series, that show is still the best media the X-Men have been in, blows the live action away
  • @sipioc
When I was a kid I thought he was called Apoca-lips because of his mouth design. Looking back I still can’t fault younger me for thinking that.
  • @kendaro9664
They did him so much injustice in X-Men Apocalypse.... So horrible!
  • 'I am as far beyond mutants, as mutants are beyond you! I AM ETERNAL!' 'You will pay for you're hubris, RIGHT NOWWWWWWW'
  • I don’t even have words for how powerful Apocalypse is. He was toned way down in the movie X-men Apocalypse. Apocalypse may be the most powerful being I’ve ever seen.
