Remember, folks. The design team and the folks at DDB aren't the ones that made the decisions that led to the drama. Save your ire for the executives.

Really appreciate that we get an adventure to free to get a feel for ourselves how this book is handling heists in 5e, as they can be pretty tricky to design and run.

Ran “Rime of the Frostmaiden”. Funnily enough, in the epilogue, there was a massive prison break from that location…all it took was an army of animated snow men, frost giants, and an undead white dragon. The fugitives now running rampant in the countryside are a major plot device of my current campaign.

I remember some years ago, Chris Perkins mentioned that he was enthused to run a heist adventure. Shortly after, he ran Acquisitions Inc through a rob-a-bank scenario in Waterdeep. But being a comedy show, they derailed it hysterically. Which was entertaining, but I did feel sorry for Chris not getting the "Ocean's 11" experience he always wanted. Good to see he helped get this product out.

The editing in this video is really good. Well done to whoever worked on it.

I love this concept for a book of one-shots, I just really hope the quality is there. Spelljammer was such a sad bare bones product and it makes me worried this book could be along the same lines.

“Prisoner 13” is a pretty neat introduction to the Golden Vault. I really like the concept…hells, I might just even design an intrigue campaign around the whole concept of the Golden Vault, should the book proper provide enough fodder. And to those interested…Prisoner 13 themself introduces (expands upon?) a pretty cool mechanic I’m VERY curious might become something new for players. Just a neat character.

#OPENDND (thank you still to the design team for bringing new adventures, you deserve the world, unlike your corporate demon bosses)

This is what I thought Waterdeep Dragon Heist was going to be. So exited to get my hands on some proper heist adventures
-
How I wish I had friends who have interest in D&D to play all these with

Candlekeep was really great. The idea of doing more one shot adventures is a great idea

Great video editing guys. Is there an alt art cover?

This video certainly caught the vibe of the new book. And I'm always up for the latest anthology

thisis what i was hoping for when i picked up Dragon Heist

This sounds like a lot of fun with a tremendous focus on expanding the D&D experience too. Can't wait!

I like the Heist genre, but I think they’d run better in Eberron. The dragonmarked houses are essentially corporations, so when they hire adventurers to steal trade secrets and otherwise interfere with one another, that’s Shadowrunning. Besides the houses, there are plenty of rival noble families, the Boromar Clan crime syndicate, the Dark Lanterns investigators, and those spooks from The Trust out of Zilargo who can tell a crime is going to happen before the plans are even laid. House Kundarak has the Mark of Warding which helps them run the most secure banks and the most solid prisons, but with the right team and the right plan, you could get Mr. McGuffin’s gold and bust Rat-Tail Jimmy out of lockup all in one night!

Very interesting product. I really can't wait to play it, but Europe is still soooo behind in term of releases. Now that the translation is done by Wizards itself, I would like to start seeing global simultaneous releases for the new products. It's not really that much to ask for a game so big like D&D is.

Its heist time. I do enjoy this concept for material, it makes a good change to the usual adventures put out which are much more along the lines of "fight x guys, defeat that boxx, save the day"

Mission:Impossible theme plays The music box says "Your mission, should you accept it..."

Dont forget to check if your local gamestore has the book as well - where you can get the alternate cover which looks FANTASTIC.
