The more you make this kind of videos, the more I want to buy the fake ones.
-
But the question is, is the real one worth the THOUSANDS more than the fake? To me, given modern luxury lack luster quality, not really.
-
This is a very smart way to promote the cheaper counterfeit bags... by pretending the differences are so clear and profound... while in fact you'll have a perfectly fine and beautiful bag for an affordable price... 😀

The leather guy had proven to us consumers that NOPE— no matter how much people try to embellish a bag- paying 4digits for it is not worth it.
-
Thanks! You convinced me to buy a fake bag. The difference between real and fake is negligible, but the difference in price between them is huge. 🤑
-
I don't by to resell, I buy to own and wear. And I got to be honest, they look so damn similar I would legitimately buy the fake.

I would rather have a $300 knockoff with 3k in the bank. At the end of the day, its a bag and it wear out like others. The cost of the raw materials are not that much. The real question is how much do value authenticity?

Real Chanel caviar bag, stitching started coming apart after three weeks. Took it back to a Chanel boutique here for it to take three months for it to be repaired. A few months later, stitching started coming loose again in a different location. For the price we paid, this was somewhat unacceptable. To be honest, when it was stolen from home a few months later, getting the insurance payout was a relief. Wife no longer has any interest in Chanel anymore as a result.

I had this medium size black Chanel bag with white logo in it that I borrowed from my sister to bring to Hawaii for vacation. Everybody was complimenting it. I didn’t even know then what a Chanel bag was. When I went for my job interview, the interviewer told me the Chanel bag was very beautiful and for sure her daughter would love to have one like it. On my first day of training, my preceptor jokingly told me, if I’m tired of the bag, I can throw it to her. They said the bag must have costed me a fortune. I became curious about the bag that I asked my sister where she bought it. She said it was given by another sister from Canada so I called that sister too. The said sister from Canada asked me if I want, she’ll give me the wallet that came with it too. I said how can you give away such expensive stuff. She said, “I don’t think so. our sister in law gave it to me as a gift when she came back from the Philippines. She said, she bought it from the local market selling fake bags for $5 dollars.” Moral of the story. Not all that glitters is gold. Fake ones glitter too. I don’t care about the brand. I care about the functionality of the item.

Damn what I just learned if you have to go with a microscope to see those little details to spot a fake from a real one. I don’t want a real one it does not worth!
-
That’s a fake, not a superfake. Fakes also come in varying quality standards.
-
wow I have a fake and it's checks basically all of the boxes of the real one! impressed. only different things were the thread colour on the cc on the inside, and the size of the chanel paris on the inside of the lock.
-
If someone gets sooo close to me to examine the bag just to tell me that it’s not authentic, the I’d feel super uncomfortable 😅
-
Hard to tell even when real and fake are side by side. The fact you’d have to go to this forensic level of investigation just goes to show that the dupes are incredibly impressive and the real one really isn’t worth the price. I’m actually quite disappointed in Chanel’s lack of quality in recent years and their customer service is atrocious. The fakes are looking rather good at this point
-
I've always wanted a real Chanel bag, but then the prices went through the roof and I cannot justify it. I own three pieces of signed Chanel jewelry, but the earrings look so outdated because they're big. I like the smaller fakes I have. LOL!
-
Would you mind just sharing the fake bags link?
-
I like how the fake bag did a better job aligning the screw heads.
-
Sorry mate but an actual Chanel classic Flap superfake goes for 600 dollars when purchased directly from the factory and passes at least 5 of your checks. What you have there isn't even midtier
-
this isn’t even a superfake. i’ve seen authentic grade fakes that smell the same as the original.
-
I’ve purchased a fake bag. I’m not going to spend the money on a real bag. I’d rather have the money in the bank. I do appreciate the video. You definitely know your stuff. Thank you!
