Very well done the Sally Army. Thank you for keeping the faith and for staying strong in these challenging times. We thank you for all your efforts.

A few years ago I saw a Salvation Army Band march down Regent Street with their Colour at the front. Fearless in their faith and a dashed sight more useful than the Oxfams and whatnot.
  • What a fantastic march through London; quite a marathon! I especially empathise with those who had heavy instruments. It was very encouraging to see people applauding, and one man saluting! It show just how much the Army is liked and supported. I would have dearly loved to be in such a parade, however, my age and multiple health problems forbade it. The video really lifted my day, Thanks. (BN)

I love Salvation Army; thanks to God and Mr Willian Booth.
  • Awesome video! Great march, bought back so many memories. I often wonder how many times Regent Hall Band has been photographed or videoed in the central streets of London - probably millions! What a witness!

Dear Mr Baton74, thank You Sooo Much for all these inspiring and lifting Band videos❣️👏🏻❣️Am an 80 yo , retired BS,RN in the US and find myself coping( sort of) with my many own medical probs these days….on the worst of days I turn on many of your YT videos and they truly are a gift of comfort. Great Britain and Her Commonwealth have to be so very proud of ALL the great bands and the entire military compliment ( horses included) They are # 1 in the world IMO❣️❤️Please stay and strong for the rest of us❣️🇺🇸
  • Great video! Absolutely love the Salvation Army Brass Bands! Apologies for the incomplete list! Would've loved to hear "The Red Shield". The marches played were, 1) 0:01-In the Firing Line 2) 2:58-One by One 3) 9:34-??? 4) 13:22-Spirit of Praise 5) 18:36-The Emblematic Flag 6) 22:59-The Wellingtonian My apologies for not providing a full march list, I only could recognize two. If anyone knows them please feel free to comment them!
  • A Great Band! They have a huge Tuba & Euphonium Section! Biggest one I've seen outside of Massed Bands. The Sound is Great! When I was a Child, The Salvation Army Band, would Play Christmas Carols in the main Shopping areas. I vividly remember being given 6d to put in the Collection Pot next to Santa & Santa's Elf who rang a big Bell like the School Bell. I was only small & couldn't get my tongue around Salvation Army, so I called them Sarmy Lol. The other thing they did was to Drive a Flat Deck Truck around the Streets, Playing Christmas Carols, all the Neighbours used to come out, some with little Mine Pies & platefuls of Christmas Cake. They've stopped doing it now Unfortunately. My Brothers weren't keen on the Sarmy, as they used to go into the Pubs Collecting & Handing out The War Cry & a lecture to anyone that accepted it. In general The Sallies were well thought of, because of the Social Work they did. They may not be proper Amy, but the Band is very Good. Thank You Mr B! Another Top Notch Video! I'll have to Remember you were a Sally Lad & refrain from offering you any Beverage stronger than a Good Coffee.😊
  • At last a colour seargant who really knows how to hold the flag on the march! well done!

Why concentrate on the front of the march - the rest of the marching group is just as important!
