The finger strength. Look at how small the crimps are, the angle these people have to climb; it's easy to think it's all arm strength but the core and leg strength too. This is absolutely unreal, and on top of all of that... THE SPEED

Big miss by NBC to not use Matt Groom or another experienced announcer. Or use Alex Honnold to make it fun, hilarious and add some celebrity. You need someone who knows what they're looking at, and an athlete sidekick (Megan Martin is fine) to add points of clarification. This sounds like a climber explaining what's going on to her mom.

I'm actually a fan of the commentators this time. Having Megan represent climbers and the other commentator representing non-climbers works for me. Makes sense for the Olympics whereas IFSC competitions aren't really watched by non-climbers
