#Faroe Islands #AdventurePhotography #Photography

All photography requires patience and curiosity. You could have the best camera, the sharpest of lenses, but if you can't sit still and take in a scene, your photos are unlikely to turn heads. That's what this video from the Faroe Islands is about. Well, that and rain...

Also a huge thank you to Lumix for sponsoring this video. I've been using the G9 and the G85 for a long time now and the stabilisation in them is immense. Find out more here: www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/cameras-camcorders.h….

"I going to try and get straight to the point" ..and then you proceed to to tell us a long story. Beared with you! Enjoyed the video! :-D
  • @paddyterhune
I really (really!) appreciate your sense of humor and that you don't take yourself too seriously. It makes the thought of making good photo's much more possible for us average guy's / gal's. Cheers!

You have a unique style on YouTube, always looking forward for your videos... keep it up!
  • @Herfinnur
I've just fairly recently gotten interested in photography and it's so surreal how photographer on youtube that I admire and do a deep dive on has been to the Faroes at some point, and no one here knows that there are all these videos where we can see beautiful footage of our islands

Great video. Patience and curiosity, brilliant and absolutely true! Taking time with a scene and composition is definitely a skill that develops in time. I'm still learning, one shutter release at a time. Thanks for the video James 👍

"patience is the most important skill for a photographer" me sets the video speed to 1.75x to finish fast
  • My two favourite photographers of the moment. Boy, have I enjoyed this little Faroe Islands series that both of you have done! Awesome seeing you both work together!
  • I know this is an older video but your intro with the explanation of your start in photography was spot on for mine as well. Thank you for the awesome video and awesome channel. You're a rockstar James.
  • @burrdaddy
Really nice sequence around 4.10. At 5.10, I genuinely thought he were asking yourself a question as you walked closer to you.
  • @Wendy-cf5tv
You and Nigel are my favs! Thanks for your content and the humor!
  • @GuLinux
I just wanted to thank you for your videos, these two in the Faroe in particular. Looks like I have a destination now for this summer holidays... :)
  • @zmerc1969
Thanks for your video...I really need to practice that skill of patience. I have the patience as I'm a very chilled type of person, but I think, as I don't get out to take photos that often, I get so excited when I do, that I need to start taking photos straight away. But I Will try the 1 or 2 hours of just walking around for sure

I'm relatively new to your channel but this is so far, my favorite. Great tips! Glad I subscribed :)

Having followed your channel for a while it's nice to hear a bit about how you got into photography. Similar story for me, I bought a point and shoot on my honey Moon about ten years ago and found I was seeing everywhere I went through new eyes, always looking for the shot. I got a buzz from that.
  • @ZarzoHd
Love the video and your content James! Keep it up
