Parakeet footage 💚and vocalizations from a Florida Quaker parrot colony. In the wild these birds are difficult to see clearly with the naked eye. I used a zoom lens to film them building so you can watch the constantly changing nests and interaction with members of their group and colony.

Myiopsitta monachus, the Quaker or Monk parakeet is a species of true parrot.

    Here in Argentina, is very common to see these lil' parrots arround the sky and trees, I has to have one of those called "Perek" as a pet but it escaped and flew away, those are such wonderful birds which you can have as an company pet ❤
