During those Olympics, Jamaica took 5 of the 6 medals on offer in the women's 100m and 200m sprint events.

VCB kinda reminds m of Evelyn Ashford when she runs. Beauty, grace and power...
  • VCB was no joke in the 200. I miss seeing her run, but I'm glad to have these videos as a reminder of her greatness.

Campbell Brown did 10.8 for the first 100m & 10.9 for the second 100 simply fantastic!
  • @sandocean17
Veronica Campbell brown ran an astonishing curve and continued his amazing run in the home straight when Felix was unable to close the gap

glad felix finally got her gold 4 years later. but big ups to VCB for consistently winning for a long time. heres to hoping the doping allegations ease up etc.
  • Great run from Veronica. She just continued something that will last forever

Veronica rocks .. she is such a nice girl as well... luv you Veronica
  • @akithan
She did. She was so disappointed that her coach had to remind her of all that she has accomplished. I feel really sorry for Allyson. I was rooting for her to win. I think that she is still #1!
  • @Prickler32
Campbell-Brown ran a near to perfect race. She was way ahead out of the turn and no one could have caught her

Allyson felix lost this due to complaceny, after that 200m blue string in osaka she relaxed and was beaten.but onething i like about felix is that she is always ready to learn from her mistakes and and experiences.no wonder she picked gold once again in berlin.2012 london will be a showdown

So great race for Veronica, 21.74 !!! So too Alyson Félix, but she did not take a good start while Veronica did, so...21.93 all the same ! At the end, I think Kerron Stewart know she can't catch up Félix, but the Jamaican girl saw at the last moment Muna Lee on her right. Muna Lee 22.00 and Stewart 21.99. Wonderful race.

@dr jones you must not know vcb bc she still was running the 200 beautifully after that

We should see about it I tell u I'm looking for looking at one sprinter from South Africa will shock some people. Veronica shoots like a bullet but I tell u there's competition out there really looking forward to this exciting event!!
  • I hope to see Allyson there, but not in running the 200M.  I so much enjoy watching her in the 400M.  It gives us the opportunity to see the beauty in her long strides.  I'm cheering for Elaine Thompson in the 200M.  I don't particularly care for Dafne Schippers.
