A Rhythm Roulette filmed at Rarekind Records in Brighton. Music producer Chris the Scientist picks out 3 vinyl records and attempts to sample them into a new track.

Special thank you to Ewan at Rarekind records for letting this be filmed. Also thank you to Maz for filming the record store footage.

  • What did you think of this? I loved watching Rhythm Roulettes growing up, so this was my take on making one. Feel free to comment and let me know as I love reading them and reply to each one <3
  • Just 2 minutes in, I am blown away. This guy has put his 10,000 hours into mastering.

As much as the beats and concept are sick, the video itself is just so creative, I don't know any other channel that puts the kind of effort you do into these kind of production videos, they're essentially cleverly disguised music videos for your tunes. Someone further down said they'd appreciate longer form videos where you talk more in depth about production decisions and techniques, and while I would love that too, I would gladly watch much more of this kind of content even if you never made a long form video. It would be great if you were able to upload more often, but I have no real idea of the kind of effort that goes into making a video like this, I would imagine it's a lot of work. Anyway, this was f*cking class, big up!

The algorithm blessed me with your channel. Your videos are a joy to watch and bring back nostalgia of my late teens and early 20s. Props all around... an easy subscription choice.

So impressive. The music and the video. You have fully integrated the early internet sounds into a visual motif. That is an achievement in itself.
