Making the entire game in 18 months is an even more impressive speedrun.
  • @Hororrgun
Imagine patching a guy up after he gets shot in the head and then the political landscape New Vegas get destabilized over the course of the next ten minutes
  • @mossycroak6638
"We only had 18 months to develop the game" They made literally the best bethesda game in less time than any other bethesda game.
  • @clarkfielduk
it's even more impressive when you realise that almost 25% of the entire run takes place in doc mitchell's house alone

Benny: Shoots Courier in the head The Courier 5 minutes later: Uno Reverse Card
  • Mom: "Son, you gotta hurry up, school starts in 10 minutes." Son: "Perfect. Just enough time to play through New Vegas."

For those that are unaware, Josh Sawyer personally made a lot of the bug fix mods that exist out there for New Vegas and for a long time curated lists of mods that fixed bugs, etc. It wasn't their fault they had to rush the game and he tried to amend it.

The developers are so wholesome. You can really tell they love their game.
  • @Nesolepus
Imagine shooting a guy in the head. Burying him. And a couple of days later you see him flying 84 feet in the air towards Vegas while holding a pure silver revolver over 30+ miles in 3 minutes.
  • @Fleabaggems
It was probably Benny's most sincere "What in the goddamn??"
  • @Dudae_
The lead designer openly calling the studio "Bug-sidian" has got to be the best type of self deprecating and self aware kind of humour to have. They know the game isn't perfect, they know there's bugs, and they acknowledge it and still hold the IP dear to their hearts, and it shows

Im 99% sure that return to the main menu part at 04:48 wasn't a strat, it crashed.
  • @lemeowskie5983
In the ten minutes he finishes the game, I'm still probably clicking "Ok" off the the added DLCs notifications after exiting the doc's house
  • @scestudios12
alternative title: local mailman pissed off enough to fly, becomes the new ruler of new vegas
  • @cykasoviet831
He ended at level 12, meaning that he leveled up 1.2x per minute. Absolute beast
  • @Jordan-mt8uu
Them cracking up everytime one of the characters gets obliterated with a shotgun 🤣🤣
  • @grahamstoner
Developers: "The game is still pretty buggy" 😂 😂 😂 😂
  • @tumate45
"Is the italian version better for the speedrun?" Funnily enough, in the older GTAs turning the language to japanese helped with some parts of the game, so they werent far away
