    Correction: VP removal process is initiated by Rajya sabha with effective majority followed by simple majority in Loksabha. Removal motion of president should be signed by not less than one-fourth of the total membership of the House. One added information: VP will be president in his absence that is mentioned in constitution but CJI will be president in absence of VP that is statutory and not mentioned in the constitution.     46:00 Under Article 156. Term of office of Governor : (2) The Governor may, by writing under his hand addressed to the President, resign his office. So the Governor shall hand over their resignation to the President of India .

    Article 156. Term of office of Governor : (1) The Governor shall hold office during the pleasure of the President. (2) The Governor may, by writing under his hand addressed to the President, resign his office. 42nd CAA (1976) made CoM advice binding. 44th CAA (1978) however added that the President can send the advice back for reconsideration 1st. But if the CoM sends the same advice again to the President then he must accept it.
