I purchased this John Deere 420 that was badly damaged in a grass fire. It was completely gone through from front to back. A Kohler Command 25 was installed along with a new PTO clutch, new driveshaft, muffler, and a totally new wire harness which I fabricated. It included all new wire pins and connectors. All hydraulic lines and components were gone through.

The transaxle was found to be damaged beyond repair with a large hole in the case along with both axle mounts and front case mounts either cracked or broken. I could not find another good case for this machine so I used a 318 case and modified it for the two-speed axle and locking differential.

The sheet metal was sandblasted to remove the remaining powder coating and painted with acrylic enamel. A new seat was installed, and the dash was painted. New tires.

This was one of many rebuilds I've done over the years but likey the most satisfying. All done as a hobby. Yes, I lost money but the time spent was worth every dime.
